About Firmoscan

Firmoscan is a free record of every company on the UK register: 63,528 companies, 14,691 accounts periods and 0 persons-with-significant-control entries, rebuilt nightly from Companies House data and presented with the analysis the register itself does not show: financial history as charts, a transparent score, peer comparison, filing deadlines with countdowns.

It is built and operated by CiphraX UK Ltd (company number 16994589), a London software company, as part of its work on automating company compliance. The data is published under the Open Government Licence v3.0; the computed fields are described in full on the methodology page.

Corrections and removals

If a record is wrong, the fault is usually in the filing itself and the fix is at Companies House; we re-read the register every night. If something here is wrong and the register is right, email hello@firmoscan.com with the company number and we correct it within one working day. Directors who want their officer page removed can ask the same way; we never publish dates of birth or home addresses.
