1. What the information is
Firmoscan republishes public information from the Companies House register under the Open Government Licence v3.0, together with figures and summaries computed from it as described on the methodology page. Financial figures are as filed by each company; we do not audit, verify or estimate them.
2. It may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date
We do not guarantee that any information on Firmoscan is accurate, complete or current. Company filings can contain errors; our automated reading of filings, matching of records and calculations (including financial figures, ratios, peer comparisons, expected due dates and signals) can contain errors; and some data may be missing. Each page states the date of the register snapshot it was built from (currently 31 August 2026). A company's status, filings, owners or deadlines may have changed since then, and filings themselves can contain errors. Due dates marked as expected are calculated from the statutory rules, not taken from the register. Always check the official record at Companies House before relying on any information here. Every company page links to it.
3. Not advice, not a credit reference
Nothing on Firmoscan is legal, financial, investment, credit or tax advice, or a recommendation to deal or not to deal with any company or person. Firmoscan does not rate or score companies; the signals shown are neutral facts from filings, not a credit rating, a credit reference or a prediction. Decisions you make are your own; take professional advice where it matters.
4. Our responsibility to you
The site is provided free and "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of, or reliance on, the site or its information, including loss of profit, business, contracts or data, or any indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
5. Corrections and removals
If something is wrong, email hello@firmoscan.com with the company number and what needs correcting. If the error is in our copy, we correct or remove it within one working day of verifying it. If the error is in the register itself, the fix is with the company at Companies House; we show the change once it appears there. Individuals can also exercise their data rights as set out in our privacy notice.
6. Using the site
You may read, link to and quote from Firmoscan. Do not use the site to harass any person, or scrape it at a rate that harms the service. Third-party links (such as Companies House) are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.
7. Changes and law
We may update these terms; the version on this page applies. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory rights you have where you live.
